Self-evaluation Route
Sharing of Practice
Teachers develop their practice over an agreed period (likely to be at least a term). All teachers have a private Portfolio which can be used to build evidence against each section of Teaching Continua. Teachers have the option of sharing their evidence with other teachers through the school News Feed.
Self-evaluation Undertaken
After an agreed period of time the school enables teachers to update any part of their previous Self-evaluation. This ‘New’ Self-evaluation is prepopulated with the colours from their most recently confirmed evaluation.
Teachers consider where their professional development and practice has led to progress and update their colours. Team Leaders confirm any changes.
Data
The Team Leader’s confirmed Self-evaluation updates Team and School Data.
